The Proof-of-Play feature has several flags to control the communication of the result.
The standard usage is to enable PoP by setting ucmsEnabled to true in the toolkit settings file. This allows you to control start and stop commands over HTTP and retrieve the resulting PoP with audience metrics as a JSON object in the response of a stop request.
By setting ucmsPushEnabled to true in the toolkit settings, you can specify an endpoint in the ucmsPushUrl which will be used to send POST requests with JSON objects containing audience metrics and metadata to the desired endpoint. We can utilize DDS to visualize this data.
A final setting that can be enabled is ucmsCsvEnabled in combination with ucmsCsvPath to store the PoP data locally in CSV files.
