USB camera is the Toolkit’s preferred input method and is selected in the Settings File as the default option:

The input resolution can be adjusted using the following fields in the Settings File, however, the default value of 640 x 480 pixels is ideal for most scenarios:

"resolutionWidth": 640, "resolutionHeight": 480,

It is recommended to place the camera close to head height, as frontal to the audience as possible, and centered above the point of interest (such as your advertising display).

Different cameras can produce different detection distances based on resolution and field of view (FOV). Below you can see the maximum detection distance for various cameras varying with FOV:
